For Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS) services in Ku-band, what type of polarization ( i.e., Linear or Circular) is preferable to use for the application like DTH?

Patch array either active or passive can be used for DBS receiver..The polarisation is generally RHCP/LHCP to avoid any polarisation mismatch..
