Hi. I'm working on methyl linoleate oxidation products, analyzed by GC-MS. When trying to identify a peak, my libraries give a perfect match with a compound with a crazy name that goes as follow: C(Si)(C)(C)O(Si)(O)(Si)(C)(C)... and it keeps going like this for a while.

I don't understand what kind of compound could it be.

Any ideas?
