For my dynamometer project, i have a 240 mm diameter brake disc, and i have an engine that creates max torque 6Nm and max power 2-3 kW. For braking, i do not want to use hydraulic braking system(cause it seems unnecessary according to my calculations), i just want to use basic bicycle mechanic braking system(with rope).

But i am not sure about choosing caliper. If you can give any advice, i would be grateful.

Edit: Actually my question is that any kind of caliper can be used or not in this system? If not, i can take advices. Thanks.
