I have seen this "active Pd surface density (micro-mole per gram)" title for X-axis in an article, no idea the technique used. I believe it would be chemisorption technique. Density means mass/volume but here the X-axis tell us its in volume/mass. Is it just inverse to density? Then how they measured the density? Ex: just by using CO adsorbed per gram metal from CO chemisorption?

Yes, it,s just like DISPERSION, so, you have to measure the number of Pt on the surface, the technique is H2 or CO chemisorption

I know BET SA of sample, also I can calculate the metal surface area by CO chemisorption. How to relate them to "active metal density mol/g"

I found one publication with metal surface density definition. Srdjan P Petrovic explanation is very useful. In the attached article, surface density was calculated based on chemisorption results
