Religion in the Third World countries plays a significant role in shaping the socio-cultural and political landscape in most African countries where Christianity is a dominant religion, while Islam is the most widely practiced religion in the Middle East and North African.
Religion is a personal thing. I often don't venture into issues bothering on religion. People are free to associate with any religion of their choice. in doing this, care should be taken not to misplace it with economic activities. i have not really carried out a study on Religion and economic growth but it can be clearly seen that most third world countries still grapple with poverty even in the midst of religion and religious activities. I will rest my case for now until a more detailed study is done. Thank you
