In some journal papers, I am included in the acknowledgement section. Reason for this is, I have helped them in taking some measurements. How should we mention such contributions in the CV?
I wouldn't recommend mentioning the acknowledgement itself. But if you're CV includes a summary of work you've done or skills/experience, then the work you did that led to the acknowledgements is an appropriate place to mention that work. If that level of detail isn't appropriate for the CV you're putting together (which depends on your seniority, what you're applying for, etc...), then it likely wouldn't add much even if mentioned in the context of publications.
Usually people do not mention such contributions in their CVs (except e.g. master students who do not have much else - e.g. co-authored articles - to report).
Thanks a lot for your answers. This question triggered when i checked this paper... http://www.pnas.org/content/101/51/17599.long
Personally, I do agree in including such contributions also, because it reflects the ability to work in a group. Also, I have seen some established researchers includes such activities in their profile. Creative discussions on this forum is welcome.

Correct thread so far - you have to be careful in a CV that you do not appear to be 'trawling' to present any evidence. It is best to present 'conventional' evidence as best you can.
I agree with the others. Only include Acknowledgements in your CV if they are for important publications, or for which your contribution was noteworthy.
I have never seen such thing before but I think it should be included in the CV. It would take time for people to get used to seeing list of acknowledgment but I strongly suggest it should begin now.
This may be a bit "off target" for this thread, my apologies if this is the case. However, in case you need help designing a nice looking CV I can recommend using the CV builder on www.academondo.com. Here you simply just enter information and the website then helps you design a nice looking CV that you can print. Hope that helps!
