Recently, the usage of the computational analyses techniques in social science, especially in the area of studying human perception is in progress. Research from computer and information technology sciences try to improve the insights from social aspects of the human lifestyle by employing the capability of the computer-based analyses techniques, e.g. image processing, neural network, and deep learning, in analyzing a vast, diverse, and complicated data domains, which deal with various interplaying factors that make the analyses with the traditional analyses method is impossible. I am looking for the possible works conducted on housing perceptions and preferences using such computational analysis techniques.

Javad, you might want to check out the work of Russell N. James from Texas Tech. He has done some fMRI mapping of the brain in response to neighborhood quality pictures related to such things as graffiti and safety concerns. If you go to slideshare.com, you might find some slide shows of his related to that topic.
