The water-energy-food nexus is a term that emerged around 2011, opening a new line of interdisciplinary research targeting the interconnectivities between three main resources: water, energy, and food. The nexus has been successful in guiding researcher and resource managers towards asking the right questions, and observing direct and indirect consequences of the way we manage our resources. Since its inception, dozens of conceptual models and definitions have been suggested in the literature. I would like to know more about your definition and interpretation of this new concept. What do you envision this concept can help with? What are the challenges and what are expectations? If I receive enough answers, I will try to summarize them and see if common themes evolve.
