I am actually having a hard time to understand the purpose of Warburg impedance in an equivalent circuit to analyze the capability of an organic coating for corrosion study purpose.
I have read a few journals that say it relates to the mass diffusion, species got converted at the electrodes and etc.
But, the problem is, I just cant seem to be able to imagine what it is unlike the rest of the elements such as charge transfer resistance, coating capacitance and etc.
What does it means that free species got converted at electrode? It got converted into what actually and what is the Zw tries to measure?
