I have attached slides with my questions: please see the pdf (simultaneous recording of PA and RV pressures).

1) The 13 msec delay of RV dp/dt min to PA valve closure seems to be fairly significant delay, why such delay? Please note: during experiment both catheter were plugged into single A/D recording device, do not expecting any delays due to recording of raw pressures.

2) What type of artifact is seen on the RV dp/dt min trace during the PA valve closure?

3) Is this artifact related to pressure catheter interfering with PA valve closure? The PA catheter is inserted from conus arteriosus (RV outflow) passing through the PA valve into common PA?

4) Have this been described, is there any literature? If Yes what are typical delays between RV dp/dt min and PA valve closures?
