You can try with small step size e.g. 0.01 or may be 0.001...then run the simulation for few iteration (may be around 20). Check the convergance. if it doesnt get converge then reduce further and if it converges, increase the time a bit and check again.
Advised to select small time-step size so that you can capture all the flow fluctuations. Set the limits that are appropriate for your simulation. Specify the upper and lower limits for the size of the time step. Smaller time step the computational expense may be too high.
