what is this plant?
this is a mangrove plant? found in marsh area. leaves globules and serrate pointed tip of leave.
Are there flowers or fruit? It might be Coccoloba depending on the region. Are the leaves thick and waxy?
Although I see no flowers but has some resemblance to Talipiriti (T. tiliaceum, T. pernambucense) and Thespesia (T.populnea) (Malvaceae).
If it's leaf lobed at the leaf tip and the pink flowers are distributed over the old growth then this plant could be Cercis siliquastrum. On the other hand, if the leaf lobed on the both leaf ends( top and bottom ) and the pink flowers over the branch (old and young); this plant could be Bauhinia variegata.
As far as I understand, it was stated at the beginning that the leaf margin is serrate. Bauhinia, Cercis, Coccoloba should have entire margin. It really could be Talipariti.
is it marsh plant? leaves have minute serrate in edges. i have doubt with Hibiscus tiliaceus L??

Hibiscus tiliaceus is a marsh plant, rather it loves to grow near water sides along lakes or near mangrove areas.
