Generally in planta transformation results in chimeric plants in T0 as mentioned by Rohini et al in study of in planta transformation approach?and need to harvest the T1 seeds to check the transformants. you people had not discussed about this in you paper. Did all your T0 plants produced the transgenic progeny or segragation of gene is there?

In our experiments all chimeric plants (oilseed rape) were useless because olnly few of them produced in T1 expected part of seeds with target gene.

All the T0 plants may not produce the transgenic progeny we need to screen further..some times they give false positives with PCR.. we cant belive / conform with PCR results alone..
