Hi.
I am performing numerical simulations of fibre reinforced composites with graphene coated on fibre. Could you please advise me what might be the volume fraction of the graphene in the interphase? Most of the studies provide a concentration of the mix (the wt.% of graphene, solvent and matrix). Fibres then are passed through sizing bath or coated with graphene by EPD.
Is there any way we can measure or estimate the amount of graphene in the coating? What could be the optimum amount?
Is it possible and desirable to obtain a high volume fraction of graphene in the coating? I understand that this depends on the method and alignment of graphene sheets.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
