What is the treatment for steroid induced hiccups?

What about the Treatment? Is there any benefit from changing the preparation of Steroid? is there life threatening in Continuation of the Steroid ?

Interesting informations and recommendations. My case had begonnen after starting therapy with Prednisolon 1x 50 mg po, and was accompanied with strong repeated Hiccups and GERD symptoms even in the night since 3 days. Before that he has no abdominal or GERD Symptoms at all. i have decided first of all to stop the Prednisolon therapy and to start therapy with PPI, non-drug maneuvers were unfortunately hilflos, Chlorpromazine was not available, so i have begonnen with low dose Diazepam, Since 24 hours he hase no symptoms mor. i'll keep you updated.
