Do Aerosols, PM2.5 and PM10 particles contains or behave like natural toxic nano-particles. Whether these particles removal or minimization procedure will follow from the environment and in what circumstances these have adverse effect for living beings and non-living historical monuments. Although, its critical issue for environmental nanotechnology research, however, very less output come into existence for improvement of environment.

Size is only one problem. Chemical composition is a main factor. Content of soot, PAH. Depending on the pollution level same PM2.5 can have merely different health implications.
Of course, PM2.5 and PM10 fractions always comprise ultrafine (nano) particles in a higher or lower proportion. It is widely assumed now that adverse health effects of PM10 are mostly due to those of PM2.5, and it is quite possible that effects of the lattter are to a certain measure due to effects of ultrafine fraction. However each size-fraction of airborn pariculate matter, along with common features, has its specific characteristics of pulmonary deposition and retention, of translocation to other organs, of cytotoxicity and organ/systemic toxicity and so on (and above any doubt, chemical nature of particles plays an important role too).Scientific literature on which this statements of mine are based is enormous indeed - so look for it and read and form your own opinion.
