Hope some one can help me understand this.

HD = · p + βm = Hamiltonian = Total Energy

HDψ = i∂ψ∂t = like SE.

The Total Angular Momentum of Electron in Dirac Equation is 0 = J. I am assuming that DE used does not consider any potential or orbit. Since J = L + S, and S is supposedly intrinsic, and since the Electron is in no Electric or Magnetic Potential, then L should be 0.

So what am I missing? Or it assumes the electron is bounded?
