is a temperature less below the glass transition temperature of polypropylene sufficient (test temperature close to but less than Tg)
The polypropylene degrades in a nitrogen environment, in a single step, from 300 °C to 475 °C. and degrades from 250 to 425 °C, in a single step in the air.
Unfortunately it's not my area of actuation, but great question. Am following it.
thank you sir . but if we want to accelerate the diffusion of chemicals inside polypropylene by increasing the temperature without degrading the PP thermally what will be the temperature necessary for that. because I am not aiming to degrade the PP neither thermally nor by a thermo-oxidation degradation I want an acceleration of the diffusion of chemicals and its degradation under the effect of these chemicals only (chemicals are: halogens or acids oxidative). thank you once again Hadi Jabbar Alagealy
