The time dependence of blood serum SWCNT concentration after single i.v. injection was measured in rabbits (solid line). Each data point is the average emission intensity of captured SWCNT fluorescence (Cherukuri et al., 2006). The single compartment PK/PD model was reconstructed (dashed line)  with VD = 4.0 ml/kg, Dose = 20 microg/kg, and t1/2 = 1.0 hour to match the experimentally determined data.
