Hello,
Could you please advice me with suitable sensors to measure 3-DOF linear velocity of a ship, i.e. surge, sway and heave velocities?
I thought of integrating accelerator measurement, but due to its bias i got a significant error. Is there anyway to compensate this bias?

That's a tricky problem.
I would favour an inertial approach - use a better integrator and a full gyro and accelerometer package.

Every other method I can think of (Doppler using three ultrasonic horns?) is expensive or very complex.
I'd recommend the VN100 from VectorNav - relatively cheap, but quite high accuracy.
