I want to detect Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone) in my sample using GC-FID. I have a DB-5MS UI column. Firstly, I need to do the calibration. What is the suitable internal standard that I can use?
You may analyze Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone) with your desired instrument without internal standard. It is easy to use external standard. I would suggest you to prepare the calibration curve using the CRM of Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone) for the quantification of Vitamin K1 (Phylloquinone) in your desired samples.

for my publications I was using K1(25) as an internal standard. K1(15) is also an option. However, this was for Liquid Chromatography, and not for GC.

it depends, for me i use Propanol as internal standard on quantitative determination of ethanol in biological matrices,
