There is a user-written program for Stata that performs this test called factortest.

Download it from within Stata by typing: ssc install factortest

If you type "help bartlett"  then factortest comes up as the second in the list of web resources from Stata and other users. Always worth using the help! ;)

Hi all.

I'm using stat 15.1 trying execution the command :

factortest ecc age vae gov reqe

but the command doesn't response!

it says

factortest cce age vae gov reqe

command factortest is unrecognized

Then I type ssc install factortest

but it sayas :

ssc install factortest, replace

checking factortest consistency and verifying not already installed...

installing into c:\ado\plus\...

file c:\ado\plus\next.trk already exists
