Symptoms: appearing on the leaves in the secondary branches produced at the apical end of the plant. Small irregular yellowish patches are seen on the leaves. Some leaves show vein clearing in one or two lobes of the leaf and severely infected plants show reduction in leaf size and elongation and/or suppression of one or two lobes. Young developing leaves are completely distorted and malformed with considerable reduction in their size. Some of the leaves show marked reduction in the development of lamina resulting in a shoestring effect. The virus is spreading to other plants very fast .

I am trying to save the bitter gourd plant. Currently nit interested in DNA SAMPLE EXTRACTION.
If you mean to store plant tissue to make DNA extraction later, I would rather prefer to store them in -80

No, at present, actually farmer wants to get good bitte gourd production commercially from these plant , this is the only one bitter gourd infested plant from 4 acre field. Is there any chemical /biological treatment / solution to get rid of this mosaic virus disease ?

More than thousand plant ta say all 4 acre field/farm of bittergourd infected with mosaic virus..i only posted here only one recent image...Not one plant infected , all are infected.
