For silica vs enthalpy diagram kindly go through Garrel's and Thomsson/ Garrel'sd and Christ, these are the classical books. Also read Publication of Donald E White and also A.J.Mee. These , and many more, did lots of work in Silica vs Enthalpy. Lots of published work available in silica thermometry. Fournier RO have a large number of papers in this subject which one can get easily in repute Journals .

In at least one sense, they are used to predict the amount of silica supersaturation that will occur as a result of mixing waters having different initial temperatures. I'd recommend Chapter 3 (by Fournier) in this volume from the Society of Economic Geologists. You can purchase the pdf for $16 on their web site at www.segweb.org
