For temperatures above the critical temperature the superconductivity disappears and thus the ideal diamagnetic susceptibility coming from the condensate goes to zero.  Therefore, if you plot the inverse of the susceptibility, you should see that 1/chi becomes very large at T_C. That makes it a good marker for the critical temperature.Also folks from magnetism are used to this kind of plots and use the inverse susceptibility to show differences between, e.g., ferromagnetism and antiferromagnetism, below the respective ordering temperature while above everything ultimately becomes a Curie behavior with 1/chi being a straight line. Note that the latter statement holds for magnetic systems.

In fact a plot of 1/chi vs. T is useful to determine the Curie constant (C) from the slope of a straight lineI (1/C) that holds in the paramagnetic state. Then, the effective magnetic moment (mu) can be evaluated, since  mu is proportional to C.  For superconductors 1/chi is not so useful.

 It is important to calculate curie constant. also I will help to determine exact transition point.   Superconductors shows diamagnetic behaviour. If we plot 1/x vs T we get a straight line which goes to the origin. we can calculate critical current density. 

Physically, the inverse susceptibility 1 / x, also, called magnetic hardness, characterized the response of the permanent or induced magnetic moments system through their orientation by external magnetic field. Electrical resistivity and conductivity can resemblance to infer qualitative understanding of this magnetic quantities.

1/χ vanishes at the critical temperature; on a log-log graph the slope gives the critical exponent in magnetic systems. However "Susceptibility itself is amount of magnetization to the corresponding field" is NOT correct; the magnetic susceptibility measures the correlation between the fluctuations of magnetic moments; in superconductors, it is frequency dependent, and maybe symmetry dependent; the susceptibility hardly diverges at the critical temperature of superconductors; so 1/χ  vs. T is not much of interest;  in  Ph Vanderbemden et l., Physica C  351 (2001) 67-70,  you might see  relevant figures
