Cow dung is an excellent fertilizer.It contains a large number of micro-organisms and the Plants grow faster with deep and dense roots.Hence , plant cutting of any crop for germination, first sink the cutting in liquid form of cow dung .

I do not have this experience particularly on this issue. However, cow dung has high nitrogen content and as nitrogen is very imporatnt for cell division, this also may enhance the sprouting with fast cell division.
