Did you mean the capacitor between the PV and Boost or the DC link between the boost and grid side converter.

Could you clear your question, please?

We have no Boost converter between PV and DC link. We only use MPPT controller to regulate the PV output. Therefore, the capacitor what I am talking here is directly after PV and just before Inverter.

I'd like to inform you the following points:

1- PV module produces variable DC voltage which depends on the sun irradiance.

2- In order to convert the DC voltage into AC voltage, we must have a constant DC voltage or at least variable DC voltage within the permissible limits.

The capacitor is used to stabilize the output DC voltage of the PV which in turn will enhance the performance of the inverter.

As per any inverter manufacturer instructions, the inverter input voltage (in your case is the PV output DC voltage) must be DC within the permissible limits.

I am fully aware about the functionality of DC capacitor in my Inverter. Only point is, what will be the effect of DC link capacitor when LVRT condition happens.

LVRT: Low Voltage Ride Through.
