I want to know the role of copper in anaerobic metabolism and also I like to know the interaction between the nanoparticle and bacteria and how nanoparticle inhibit / enhance bacterial growth.
Copper is a necessary trace element and is a cofactor for various enzymes; however, is not biodegradable and can accumulate to potentially toxic concentrations.
