As big data accelerates the process by which business re-imagines itself, there seems to be a need for overall restructuring of the accounting profession. It will definitely change the way the auditors work.In the long run, it may even challenge the existing accounting standards,and demand new accounting standards to cater to the needs of changed business environment in the light of Big Data.

This fruitful discussion should go on.
