What will be the future of Accounting and Auditing in the era of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence?

We know that today Blockchain has become a Buzzword. It has been Blockchain changing and affecting almost all the sectors, and it is all set to transform accounting, and challenge the need of auditing. It will create a great disturbance in these fields. I just want to know the impact of Blockchain on these areas,and how to devise policies to tackle the challenges.

Block-chain technology will change the idea of a centralized ledger controlled by a single entity. Distributed ledger is to replace the centralized one. Thus, I would say, the need for regulators and accountants will be much less required.
