12/12/2015 - A storm of applause greeted the participants of the Paris Conference announcement that world leaders adopted a new climate agreement. Addressing the delegates of the Summit, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called the triumph of their efforts.
The new agreement includes measures to support poor countries to adapt to climate change. Developed countries have a leading role in providing financial and technological assistance to poor countries.
Developing countries also pledged to take appropriate measures for their abilities to combat climate change.
The UN chief said that now have to engage seriously in the implementation of the decisions taken. He expressed the hope that world leaders will maintain the spirit of cooperation with which they come to Paris.
This is very good agreement, if it will be performed.
Pris !!!!! And for your information - climate is not a curse, because the oxygen on which we are living is a part of climate only !!!!!! Even if their is an increase in carbon dioxide, the plant productivity will increase--so why curse on climate? If warming even occurs, we can cut short our budget for buying woolen coats, jackets etc.

The impacts of resource scarcity or climate change practice almost will blur other risk drivers and becomes extremely difficult, while poor people are undoubtedly vulnerable to the direct impacts of climate change, the most far-reaching effects of global warming may be the indirect “consequences of consequences” – such as political instability, economic weakness, food insecurity or large-scale migration
On 12 December 2015 the participating 195 countries agreed by consensus to the final global pact, the Paris Agreement, to reduce emissions as part of the method for reducing greenhouse gas. In the 12-page document the members agreed to reduce their carbon output "as soon as possible" and to do their best to keep global warming "to well below 2 degrees C"
that is the main thing discussed and final result/outcome of that conference.
At te onset I congratulate you for a nice question. Draft declaration of Paris convention has the same flavor and texture where there is difference of opinion between developed and developing countries. Far more apart from policy decision it is the implementation side which is to be watced closely and that will help rating success of Paris.
Despite gradual progress on bridging the gap between climate science and policy, it is yet to be seen how this Paris agreement will withstand the test of time although there are good reason to believe that it will misfire at the implementation level due to the lack of adequate finance and governance deficit.
