I am doing research about spiritual crisis in the context of early intervention for psychosis teams and what might influence the kind of discussions staff have with clients, such as their own beliefs or fears related to engaging with this. I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me of any relevant research they know about.

Abstract
To respect the spiritual beliefs of clients and provide them with proper treatment, mental health professionals must distinguish between healthy spiritual beliefs and delusional beliefs. Few studies have focused on the clinical evaluation of spiritual or religious beliefs, and the existing studies have shown that the evaluation of spiritual beliefs varies widely among mental health professionals. A phenomenological approach was utilized to explore the central research question regarding how psychologists make sense of the spiritual or religious beliefs of patients diagnosed with psychotic disorders. Twelve licensed forensic psychologists were interviewed, and their data were interpreted using significant statements and data variations within the interview transcriptions. This study raises questions regarding (a) how a clinician’s conceptualization of spirituality versus religion influences the clinician’s expectations regarding the experiences of his or herpatients, and (b) whether or not the content of a spiritual/religious belief is clinically useful in the determination of a patient’s psychosis. This study extends the academic and practical literature regarding the use of a psychologically-based evaluation of spiritual/religious beliefs even in medical model treatment settings. The social change implication is that this study adds to the bodies of work that call for changes in practice regarding how spiritual and religious beliefs of seriously mentally ill patients are assessed
and therapeutically addressed in practice. Information from this study may be used to
improve the clinical approach to assessing spiritual/religious beliefs, the clinicians’ level of comfort in working with spiritual/religious beliefs, and the resulting treatment
provided to seriously mentally ill patients.

I am not competent enough to reply of your queries ,but to me i have observe that earlier literature of indian contribution have covered almost all areas from our birth to the final destination of our life.

With this contributory effect of recent period of Swami Ramkrishna Paramasha ,Swami Vivekananad,Sri Arvind Ghosh & such other great master have endeavoured to place their experience & contribution in the universal sphere of human mind.
