I am struggling to setup a swat model for a small agricultural watershed of 40 km². I would like to run a simulation at a timestep of 5 mn. Some references I came accross suggest this is quite possible. I am using arcSWAT (https://swat.tamu.edu/software/arcswat) v2012 10.3.19 (for arcGIS 10.3).

I have recorded values of precipitations (at 4 raingages) as well as discharges at a timestep of 5 mn. Feeding precipitation files to the weather Data section returned the error "Index was outside the bounds of the array".

I googled a bit and it came out for subdaily timesteps, the header of *pcp files should be formatted as "20170101,5" followed with the values as usual, considering the start date is 2017/01/01. Changing my files returned a different error : "the number of rows in your file does not correspond correctly to the timestep of the file" (as reported here https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/swatuser/6WY8LX95olY/QCEfsbwhAgAJ).

Are there any pieces of advise on how to setup correctly input files for subdaily simulation with arcSWAT ?
