What is the relative effect of using the WebQuest in comparison with regular process writing instruction in decreasing the writing apprehension level of university learners of EFL ?
Not sure Webquest in itself is the answer, but any processes that might draw from: constructivism, gamification, experiential learning, active learning and technology rich teaching will have a positive impact on learning generally and on second language acquisition in particular. Here there is also a significant theoretical overlap between the frameworks mentioned above and communicative methods approaches - now well established in the literature of second language instruction.
