Two lubricants were tested using a four-ball tester: one is a mineral oil of 460cSt and the other is a vegetable oil. The coefficient of friction in case of mineral oil was found to be much higher than the vegetable oil but the scar diameter of mineral oil is smaller than the vegetable oil. the experiments were repeated thrice and the same has been observed.

Vegetable oil contains significant amounts of higher fatty acids. They are effective anti-friction agents. So the low friction is observed in your exprimrnts.. The composition of mineral oil is not known. Therefore, I can't explain the excellent antiwear properties of this mineral oil.

The mineral oil is a commercial mineral oil bought from the market .it has anti wear and extreme pressure additives.
OK! Then everything is clear. The oil contains AW additive. Correlation between anti-wear and antifriction properties of oils takes place only for simple systems.
