Big data is simply a collection of tons and tons of data on various variables. Consequently, quality assurance is one critical area which can make use of big data to identify patterns by connecting the dots from various angles and try to draw conclusions.
For instance we can look at product quality. In this case the Big data analytics team has collected data on product defects, product review comments, customer reported defects, design complexity data, statistic analysis data etc….
