Some literature saying, higher I(003)/I(004) ratios speaks for lower degree of disorder in NCM cathode material, suggesting lesser cation mixing. But some literature says higher ratio shows increased cation mixing.
In most articles, it is noted that the higher ratio of I(003)/I(104) leads to the decreases mixing cations and improvement the electrochemical properties. Also, the appropriate amount for this ratio should be more than 1.2 , and the placement of lithium and nickel in their place is better.
