I wonder if anyone has kept a record of the reported mobility of organic field effect transistors.
And what is the highest value of hole and electron mobilities to date, for small molecule and polymer types?
Attached please find the mobility trend to see the evolution in time. One of the highest reported is the mobility of organic semiconductor is reported in paper "Ultra-high mobility transparent organic thin film transistors grown by an off-centre spin-coating method" (Nature Communications 5, 3005 (2014)) that reaches values up to 100 cm^2/V.s. However, it is more about the deposition technology and results are not reproducible very well. As a result, even though it is sometimes hard to believe, it shows certain way. The material research is important but it is not the only way. The deposition technology still need proper improvement.
