In Indian scenario particularly on INDIAN SIGN Langauge Recognition is still in infant stage. Several works proposed by many research community to standardize the process. the thing is such works are mainly concentrates on fingerspelling and word level.
Generally, hearing impaired community used continuous sentences to communicate with each other. In this direction , there is no concrete work has been reported in India. Work reported were worked on signer dependent paradigm . so there is a scope for working on signer independent paradigm.
More important thing is there is a lack of sign language data for processing in sentence level. We the computer vision domain people can think abi=out the standardization of signing pattern.
we addressed those questions in the context of INDIAN SIGN LANGUAGE .
