According to the report, we are given rank 64, which is not an achievement, but a clear regresssion. I am mostly doing business in countries, which rank among the first 20. My observation: there are different forms of 'capitalism' (scale: non-productive vs. productive); 'productive capitalism' is defined by a 'democratic market system' (democratic market society), in economic and financial terms.

Cronyism, nepotism, rentierism and the like are 'killers' of capitalist economic productivity.

I am from India stayed in various countries. Now in Australia. Interesting scores. As mentioned by Aravind stable n strong Govt. is very much necessary. Still some of the persons are escaping/white-collar criminals (with respect to India).

@ Joshua you need not feel. Your country's problems are like that. There are some more countries even show worst ranking for eg. Somalia 180/180.

I think that the government need to do more governance with AI and new other technologies and we need to literate the peoples to use the technologies for the better governance and it will lead to a better tomorrow. Now a days we can directly vote for the ideas or government action like republic i Greek times buy using technology. We need a platform for this according to this they(Government). Need to take decisions in it. But they don't do like this still they need to put their bad ideas on us.

It seems my country is competing for the final positions in the list of countries covered by that.

Transparency internationals report about Nigeria has always been factual.

Between Papua New Guinea and Comoros. The best will be ahead.

Iran's ranking in Transparency International's annual corruption report has dropped from 130 to 138 among 180 countries surveyed. The truth of the matter is that when a country does not align herself with the principles set by arrogant countries like America is treated as a recalcitrant and its position in most global rankings is highly subjective. Lack of compliance and the wish for regional independence are important factors in such rankings. As a case in point, Saudi Arabia which is a country involved in tribal and international breachment of many international laws and honest dealings stands at 58 ! Alas, the main disadvantage of international reports is that the figures must be first checked with and approved by the cores of power in America.

Corruption is the cause of most economic turbulence in the developing nations coupled with bad leaders holding unto power by force.

Arvind Singh has very well answered for my country India I certainly shall follow his answer and I am sure the situation will further improve.
