03 September 2013 3 8K Report

I am working on placental tissue (cell membrane 50ul) esterified in 5% MeOH-HCL at 80 degree for 2 hours, after cooling methyl esters extracted in hexane, dried in Argon gas stream and reconstituted in chloroform to be injected in GC.

We are getting transparent oily droplets after Ar gas drying process which is not getting dried and disturbs our whole chromatogram increasing EPA peak 10 folds and additional peaks after 17 minutes (18 minutes and 18.6 minutes). We have also tried Folch's method before esterification but oily thing is not going. Please help me to understand as this problem retains even after trying different centrifuge, vails, sample size, sample type etc. (attached photo of an oily vail)
