In a variable speed DFIG-wind turbine generator, the rotor speed lies between 0.67p.u.-1.33p.u. Of the synchronous (rated) speed due to use of partial power rating power, electronic converters are on the rotor. In the case of gearless PMSG-wind turbine generators, the full power rating of power electronics are used to control the power from generator to grid, so that the rotor speed range is more in PMSG-WTG. What is the numerical value of the rotor speed range in PMSG-WTG? I am waiting for your valuable comments.

there are too many permanent magnet generator designs out there to give a proper answer. The rotational mechanical speed without gearbox is about 120°/s but the electrical speed depends on the number of poles the generator features.
