Here, in the Danube Delta, is quite a common species, but it is native, not introduced. Actually, in the page indicated by You, there are several countries listed for the area of distribution of Alisma plantago-aquatica.

I knew, we have it in Iran specially in north and wetland ecosystem, but my information just about my public information in university I couldent find any documanted about it for you.
