We are working on preparing a drug carrier niosome. We are planning to use a 24 amino acid peptide (MW=3000 kDa) as a coating which will serve for homing purposes.

As to link the peptide we are thinking of using PEG aldehyde to link from N-terminus side (PEG2000).

Is PEG2000 suitable for the 24 amino acid peptide (as to avoid eventual aggregation)? does it affect much the global size of the carrier? and if possible is there any method to purify the final product from excess/non-linked peptides/PEG? how to control that?

Thank you
