I'm getting zero or no ct value in my gene expression analysis during RT-PCR analysis. I'm not understanding the meaning of zero ct value, how I should interpret the data now. Should I consider this ct value for further analysis of gene expression.
Have you checked that your primers work in a regular PCR using genomic DNA? Also, what is it known about the expression of your taget gene in the cells/tissues/physiological conditions you got your RNA from? Maybe your gene simply is not expressed under those circumstances. Nevertheless, the primers should work if you do a PCR out of genomic DNA, given that they are not separated by an intron.
It means that perhaps the expression level of your transcript in your target tissue is very low. Rony Fernando Orobio Hurtado is right, first you need to make sure of it. You may simply check Expression Atlas (by EBI) by choosing your gene and species and tissue to find a support for your lab tests.
