I've retrieved datasets from GEO database and found some of the gene expressions data are of genes with the "///" symbol, such as SERPINB4///SERPINB3 and IGHA2///IGHA1///IGH. Which genes are expressed, is it both of the genes?
Hi Daphne Olivia Jawai Sadai ,
The "///" means that this probe (or any given probe) was designed to match all those genes. In other words, these are non-specific probes.
hello Daphne Olivia Jawai Sadai just like Bruno César Feltes answered /// means that there are non-specific probes
Bruno César Feltes thank u for your answer! appreciate it.
