I am informed that switched capacitor converters are usually preferred for low power but I have seen lots of papers in which they are also used in high power applications like a grid-tied multilevel inverter. In fact, I myself have worked on such a topology. But what raises my doubt is that how much feasible these converters are for high power applications or up to what maximum power limit they are feasible?

Dear Arpan The power level will be determined by the current carrying capacity of the devices we are using in the converter as well as the voltage level. In multilevel inverter the device having the lowest current carrying rating will be used as the current in calculation.
