Low melting point metals like Zn, Cu, Al, Sn etc form intermetallic compounds when present in austenitic stainless steel. Can anyone tell about the maximum permissible limit of these impurities in these steels?
please see
ASM handbook
Dear prof V.S Muralidharan kindly provide some more details
regards
you can go through the following standards
UNS S30400; AMS 5501, 5513, 5560, 5565; ASME SA182, SA194 (8), SA213, SA240; ASTM A167, A182, A193, A194
