For experts in UV-Vis, on working through a sample (absorbance theme), sorry for the little-clear graph, what does the cut which happens from (320-400 nm) indicate, does anyone experience such behavior before?
You should check in your instrument settings whether there are any lamp and/or filter changes in this region.
Thanks, Hugh. And yes, i checked everything and all was Ok. But also repeated the same solution two more times, and the results are as they are.
Thermo-Scientific, Evolution 600 UV -Vis Spectrometer. I set the (200-600 nm) range.
I am not familiar with this instrument. But, if it goes to 200nm, there should be a change in Lamp somewhere around 300-350nm. Through the software/settup, can you see where this is set to? if so, can you try to change it?
