I´m working on my research and using the webetnography. I´d like some recommendation to improve studies and deal with a great number of data. Thank you
I recommend keeping the work plan always organized and combining more than one analysis tool. My research is in the scope of social memory in a sociodynamic perspective and I have to deal with different types of data and use MaxQDA for data processing, combined with other tools (RStudio, Bibliometrix RPackage, Organge3). To organize my work plan and the connection between the tools, I'm using Obsidian.
You may have to follow a similar path. So, for encodings you can use MaxQDA, NVivo, AtlasTI (paid) or CATMA, Tagette, Orange3, R/RStudio, TAMSAnalyser (Free).
When we have a lot of material to deal with in our analysis, the challenge is to create a good strategy so as not to waste time, create a good database and achieve our goals.
